Getting back into the swing of things sucks.
Before summer school session began I went to Portland, Oregon for my sister’s graduation from Reed (where I took way too many pictures-talk about a beautiful place). Basically, I came into summer already behind, played catch up for two days, and then left for back home for the weekend.
Originally, I was supposed to go to a gathering my friend was having to say goodbye before she left to Texas, but that ended up being postponed. Instead, I was extra exciting and slept in with my cat and did all my laundry that piled up. More importantly, I got to hang out with wonderful people who were not doing summer classes and had been away at different universities the rest of the year, beat Gauntlet, and baked chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake bars. You heard me.
Back at school until Thursday, when I leave to travel again. Washington D.C. is next!
